Friday Night Lights XI

The Explorers just refuse to lose! In the opening round of the Ohio High School Athletic Association Football (Division One Region Two) playoffs, the Hudson Explorers routed the GlenOak Golden Eagles 38-6 to advance to the second round. On Saturday, the 9-2 Explorers travel to Sandusky to face the undefeated (11-0) Whitmer Panthers of Toledo. This will be a test for Hudson as the Panthers have scored more than 100 points, over the course of the season, as compared to the Explorers. In addition, the Panthers' defense has allowed less than 15 points per game.

So, the #1 Band in the Land - the Hudson High School "Swing" Marching Band - loads up at 4:00 pm to head west to Sandusky Stroebel Field at Cedar Point Stadium to cheer on our team and give the fans in Central Ohio one heck of a show. Kick-off is at 7:00 pm. Go Explorers!
