"Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing)" is a 1936 song, written by Louis Prima and first recorded by him with the New Orleans Gang and released in March 1936. In reality, it is not much of a song in terms of its musical content. But, when it is set to a Big Band arrangement, it never fails to inspire. Originally entitled "Sing Bing Sing", in reference to one of my favorite singers, Bing Crosby, it was soon retitled for use in wider contexts. Here, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa and Henry James “swing the house”, so to speak. It is said that those who sing pray twice. I wonder what happens when you “Sing, Sing, Sing”? Enjoy.
